mush
Privacy Policy
Effective July 27, 2026
mush is a simple app that shows you a verse from the Qur'an each day and lets you write private reflections. We built it to respect your privacy. This policy explains what happens with your information.
mush does not ask you to create an account or sign in. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location.
Anything you write in the Reflect tab is stored only on your device and in your own private iCloud app storage. Your reflections are never sent to us and we cannot read them.
The daily verse is fetched from a public Qur'an text service (AlQuran Cloud) when the app opens. These requests do not include any personal information about you.
mush offers an optional subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to check whether a subscription is active. For this purpose, RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous identifier generated for the app. This information is not linked to your name or identity, and it is never used to track you across other apps or websites. You can review RevenueCat's privacy practices at revenuecat.com/privacy and Apple's at apple.com/legal/privacy.
mush contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
mush is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If we update this policy, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
